Up until now (20–22 years) our education system has been throwing us from one non-vocational education to another. One would think that 12 years of education would sort our goals and passions out. No? Well, take another 3 years on a subject of your choice. This should be it, right?

Well… you know the answer.

When has studying more made us realise what we want to actually do in our lives?

So how DO you find out what you want to do in your life?

EXPERIENCE!

and how DO you gain experience?

INTERNSHIPS!

Our education system entails us to 1 compulsory 2-month internship in 3 years of our studies. Totally crap idea.

“Why?”, you ask? Well…

We need more!
There are roughly 350 viable careers that you could go for. 350! How in the world would 1 internship give you clarity on what you want to do.

Internships should become a subject in our regular college time tables. It should become mandatory to pursue an internship alongside your college studies.

Coming back to your Master’s… it's the end of the line. It's not a decision you can take on a whim. Your Master’s will define your life ahead, Not to mention the huge investment in terms of tuition fee and energy that you will be putting in!

Experience, Experience, Experience.

It is the only way to reduce the probability of failure…cause that's exactly what we're doing in life, enhancing our odds at success.

So how DO you optimize your Master’s?

By knowing what you want from it! High pay is not a reason enough to justify going for an MBA straight after your undergraduate.

Do internships in every field that you can think of. Work after your Bachelor’s. Understand...what you want from life… it's as easy as that.

DO NOT take your Master’s to be a safety net, prolonging your experience in a safe, societally acceptable environment, protecting you from the real world out there!

Going directly for a Master’s also eliminates your chance of having a “REDO” button in life.

Consider this scenario-

You completed your undergrad, worked for a firm for some time or even started your own business. Things were going great at first but you have now reached a dead end. You are tired, irritated and drained out. This is not what you want to do. You want to get out of this mess. You want a stream change or you just want a redo in the same industry.

How do you do that?

You go for a MASTER’S!

It's like a Get out of Jail Free card. It gives you a redo at life. Let's you start afresh, change streams, remove any corporate baggage that you have.

THAT is the power of a Master’s…
